Using the Archives

The Archives’ unique historical documents include correspondence, diaries, manuscripts, minutes, photographs, unpublished reports, audio-visual material, and much more. Some of the oldest manuscripts date back to the 14th century, but most of the archives date from the 18th century to the 20th century.

- Archives can be consulted in the Reading Room of the Library's Special Collections and Archives (SCOLAR), located on the lower ground floor of the Arts and Social Studies Library, Corbett Road, Cardiff, CF10 3EU.

- Please call or email in advance in order to book an appointment to consult archives. SCOLAR's opening hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
